Social Sorority
Apparel Chairman
August-December 2015 I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to step in as my sorority's Apparel Chairman for a semester. My time was filled with hand-drawn designs, back-and-forth emails between vendors and myself, improvisations in the midst of a brand shortage, quick turn-arounds, and shirts taking up all the living space in my apartment. Though this position was accompanied with some exhausting side effects, I am so proud of the 20 shirts I produced in the semester. Trying to please 180 girls with your creativity can be pretty challenging, but I averaged 110 orders per shirt, established a set of written procedures and guidelines for the position that were not previously made, and made amazing relationships with our vendors. |

Panhellenic Delegate
January 2014-May 2015 I was elected as a National Officer my sophomore year of college as a Panhellenic Delegate. My primary role was two-sided. I served as a liaison between my chapter and Auburn University Panhellenic, and between my chapter and my sorority National Headquarters. Funneling from this, I encouraged and recorded our chapter's involvement in other Panhellenic events, voted on Panhellenic laws, represented our chapter on and off campus, and worked closely with our chapter President. |
